I use an Olympus that OI paid about 53$ for, from Sears when i was there. I'm split about it. I love it, and hate it.
The mem stick is proprietary, hard to get. The cable is proprietary. It's slow taking picts with the flash enabled. But its been durable, resisted water damage, like it was a duck, and the picts uniformly look great. It does video...but breaks them up into 20 second segments....that type of thing.
Overall, at the price, I'd now would've gotten the other one still on the shelf. They were demo models, and mine has provided great service....
So, basically, good job on the choice.
